About the Workshop

Every vinyl record has a story. In this workshop, you'll give it a brand new one.

Paint the Groove is a hands-on creative experience where old vinyl records become your canvas. Whether you're inspired by your favourite bands, bold colours, abstract art, nature, pop culture, or something entirely your own, you'll transform a classic record into a unique piece of wall art.

There's no right or wrong way to create here. This is a space to experiment, play with colours, and enjoy the simple act of making something with your own hands. Whether you arrive with a clear idea or discover it as you paint, our facilitators will guide you through the process while encouraging you to make it truly yours.

As the music plays and conversations flow, you'll slow down, switch off from the usual rush, and lose yourself in the creative process. It's less about being a great artist and more about enjoying the experience of creating.

By the end of the session, you'll walk away with a one-of-a-kind painted vinyl record that's ready to display in your home or gift to someone special, along with a few hours well spent doing something refreshingly different.
