Thank you for booking a workshop with Sideways. Please read the following terms carefully before completing your purchase.

Booking Confirmation

Once your booking is complete, you will receive a confirmation email or message acknowledging your purchase.

Approximately one week before the workshop, all registered participants will be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group. This group will be used to share important event updates, venue details, arrival instructions, and any information relevant to the workshop.

Please ensure that the phone number provided during registration is active and accessible on WhatsApp.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to limited seats and advance procurement of materials, all ticket purchases are final.

  • Tickets are non-refundable once booked.

  • Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

  • Refunds will not be issued for partial attendance.

  • If Sideways cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund.

Transfer Policy

If you are unable to attend, your ticket may be transferred to another person up to 24 hours before the event.

Transfer requests must be sent via email or WhatsApp and must include the replacement attendee’s full name and contact details.

Transfer requests received after the deadline cannot be accommodated.

Arrival

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the workshop begins. Late arrivals may miss important instructions, and we may not be able to repeat demonstrations or extend the workshop duration.

Workshop Participation

  • Unless stated otherwise, all workshops are beginner-friendly.

  • All materials required for the workshop are provided.

  • Participants are expected to handle tools and materials responsibly and follow instructions provided by the facilitator.

  • Sideways reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or prevents others from enjoying the workshop.

Photography & Videography

Photographs and videos may be taken during workshops for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on our website and social media platforms.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform a member of the Sideways team before the workshop begins, and we will be happy to accommodate your request.

Changes to Workshops

In the unlikely event that a workshop needs to be rescheduled, relocated, or modified due to circumstances beyond our control, registered participants will be informed as soon as possible using the contact details provided during booking.
